Aan die begin van die jaar moet Christen ouers weer besluit oor die plek waar hulle kinders onderwys gaan ontvang. In Suid-Afrika kies die meeste Christen ouers om hulle kinders na staatskole te stuur. Slegs ‘n minderheid kies vir tuisonderwys of Christelike privaatskole.
Daar word algemeen erken dat daar probleme is met staatsonderwys. Die kurrikulum is daarop gerig om die intergeloof godsdiens oor te dra (kliek hier vir ‘n verslag hieroor)....

Tuisskolers.org has reported earlier that although public education in South Africa in general is a failure, there are still a number of public schools that provide excellent results. These schools have parent committees that are actively involved and even appoint additional teachers at their own cost.
