Grade 8 & 9 and all beginners
Part 1 is designed for beginners and is
aimed at looking at the subject as an "interactive system" rather than
practising concepts in isolation. It will be useful for the Accounting
Educator as an extra resource in the classroom, for pupils who need to
catch up on work missed or for the pupils themselves to practise at
home.
What makes the programme one of its kind, is that all the concepts are
taught in one realtime Company, and illustrated as such. This would
stimulate more interest in the subject, and the user will continually
be wondering what the next event would be.
The programme is designed to run in a series of screens, with hyperlink
buttons to jump from one topic to the next, in order to facilitate
flexibility to the user of the programme. The index consists of demo
screens, worksheets and worksheet solutions which are hyperlinked, and
the user have the freedom to move around from the one screen to the
other. The programme is fully syllabus compatible, interactive and will
stimulate both Educator and pupils in a dynamic and competent learning
environment.
It comes with a manual where the pupil
can practise the concepts taught, and can be downloaded free of charge
when the programme is purchased.

Part 2 covers the entire Grade 9
syllabus, and is also suitable for any beginners wanting to learn the
basics from scratch.
It is systems based, and the user is continually reminded where
debtors, creditors, etc fit into the Accounting system. Realistic
figures and scenarios in a realtime Company make this Software a winner
and one of a kind. It starts off with simple transactions, and continue
right through to Financial Statements and the interpretation thereof.
It is suitable for both beginners and advanced users. The beginner
(pupil) will follow a set order of screens, and the programme unfolds
like a story. The experienced Educator can access different menus,
allowing them freedom to move around in the programme, according to
specific needs and lesson plans.
There is a manual for both Part 1
& 2 that can be downloaded in PDF and printed when the
programme is purchased.
The manual explains how to access the screens, and worksheets can be
completed whilst learning the concepts.
